What this light means

This light comes on when the ignition is switched on and normally turns off within a few seconds if the high-voltage battery system is working properly. If the system develops a fault, the light turns on again and stays on.

Immediate actions

  1. 1Avoid demanding driving (hard acceleration, high speed) until the vehicle is checked.
  2. 2Contact a BYD authorized dealer or service provider for inspection as soon as possible.
