This warning light indicates a potentially serious fault. Do not continue driving. Stop in a safe location and contact an authorized service center or roadside assistance. Never attempt to inspect high-voltage or safety-critical components yourself.
What this light means
This light comes on when the ignition is switched on and normally turns off within a few seconds if the high-voltage battery system is working properly. If the system develops a fault, the light turns on again and stays on.
Immediate actions
- 1Avoid demanding driving (hard acceleration, high speed) until the vehicle is checked.
- 2Contact a BYD authorized dealer or service provider for inspection as soon as possible.
