Transport and towing
The user manual states the vehicle can only be transported on a flatbed truck. Towing mode is enabled from Vehicle Settings -> Vehicle -> Mode and disables air-suspension height adjustment while active.
| Towing-mode prerequisite | Official summary |
|---|---|
| Power mode | Vehicle power is not OFF |
| Connections | No charger or external-discharge adapter connected |
| Brake/gear | Brake pedal depressed; gear in P or N |
| Traction mode | Traction mode closed |
| After towing | Exit towing mode and secure the vehicle in a stable state |
Towing and recovery can damage the battery pack, suspension or drivetrain if done incorrectly. Use professional recovery. If the battery pack is deformed, leaking, smoking or otherwise abnormal, the manual says safety risks must be eliminated first.
Off-road and special-condition maintenance
For desert, gravel, ice/snow, mud, bumpy roads, mountain driving, water crossing and trailer towing, the manual recommends increased maintenance frequency and ROX Service Center consultation at least every 3 months if such use is frequent.
Air suspension / DCC
ROX describes long-travel air suspension with DCC algorithms and terrain modes. In very cold weather the manual advises checking air springs and lines for cracks, bulges, wear, aging, damage or looseness and warming the vehicle before high-speed driving.
