Charging configurations
The official user manual documents two charging configurations. Configuration 1 has an AC charging port. Configuration 2 has separate DC fast-charging and AC slow-charging ports.
| Charging item | Official manual value |
|---|---|
| AC charging, 7 kW | Full charge in about 8 h 30 min |
| AC charging, 11 kW | Full charge in about 6 h |
| DC charging, 100 kW, Configuration 2 | 30% to 80% in about 30 min |
| Charging limit setting | 80% to 100% |
| Low-temperature preheating | Can be scheduled before charging in cold weather |
| Parking power generation | Range extender can charge the battery while parked when conditions are met |
V2L / external discharge
| Configuration | Output summary |
|---|---|
| Configuration 1 | 220 V external output up to 3500 W through converter; built-in 220 V socket up to 2200 W; converter and socket can work together within limits |
| Configuration 2 | 220 V output up to 2200 W per circuit; some GBT 16A converter cases allow up to 3500 W |
Do not charge or discharge if the connector, port or converter is wet, damaged, rusted, deformed, blackened or contaminated. Do not touch terminals. Stop charging/discharging if anything is abnormal and contact ROX Service Center.
Battery care notes
- •If the displayed pure-electric range reaches 0, the manual says the vehicle must be charged within 24 hours; failure to charge within 7 days may permanently damage the battery.
- •ROX recommends charging at least once every two weeks until fully charged.
- •Charging time increases in winter/cold weather and when A/C is running.
- •If the battery is below 20% or the low-battery warning is active, charge in time to protect battery life.
Frequently asked questions
How long does ROX ADAMAS take to charge on AC?
About 8 h 30 min on a 7 kW AC charger or about 6 h on an 11 kW AC charger.
