ROX 01 tire inflator compatibility: what to check before buying
Most 12V inflators work, but the socket has limits. Check current draw, fuse rating and cable length before you buy.
Check before buying
Compatible with most 12V inflators if you stay within the socket power limit and use the correct connector.
Quick answer
The ROX 01 front 12V socket is fused at 15 A (about 180 W). Inflators drawing up to about 12 A are normally fine; high-output units may blow the fuse or overheat the socket.

CompatibleCompatibility checklist
| Accessory type | What to check | Risk | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard 12V inflator | Current draw at or below 12 A | Low | Works on the front socket with the vehicle switched on |
| High-output inflator | Fuse rating and heat | Medium | May exceed 15 A; use only if rated below the socket limit |
| Cordless inflator | No socket draw | Low | Independent of the socket; charge separately |
| Inverter plus AC pump | Power draw | High | Not recommended; likely to trip the fuse |

Notes: Independent of the socket; charge separately

HighWhat to check: Power draw
Notes: Not recommended; likely to trip the fuse
How to choose safely
- 1Pick an inflator rated at 12 A or less continuous draw.
- 2Use the front socket and keep the vehicle switched on.
- 3Avoid cheap splitters because they add resistance and heat.
- 4Let the pump rest if it becomes hot during long use.
What can damage the socket
Drawing more than 15 A, using a loose plug, or running an inverter through the socket can blow the fuse or melt contacts. Do not exceed the rated current.
