Deepal SL03 EREV (range-extender) version status
Honest status of Deepal SL03's range-extended powertrain across model years.
Safety and service note
What is confirmed
Deepal SL03 has also been sold as an EREV with a range-extender engine, referenced by a 2022 EREV service-manual mirror on Scribd (legal-review/discovery only in this rollout, not used as a fact source). Secondary automotive-data research indicates SL03's original 2022 EREV battery pack was rated near 35.1kWh, since superseded by smaller packs -- AutoTechHelp has not independently verified this figure against a primary source and treats it as research-status only. A 2025 database (CarNewsChina) names current EREV trims "140 Range Extender Elite" and "220 EREV Sport" (RMB119,900/131,900), where the numbers likely denote EV-only range in kilometres, though the exact battery capacity behind each trim was not itemized in the source checked.
Scope and safety boundaries
Do not assume any specific EREV battery capacity, EV-only range or fuel-system figure applies to your SL03 without VIN-level confirmation. The range-extender engine, fuel system and high-voltage battery are service-only; no repair or wiring instructions are published on this site.

Important
Check the model (SL03/L07), market, trim, VIN and official Deepal/dealer confirmation. Safety-critical topics stay service-only.
Frequently asked questions
Is this page official Deepal content?
No. It is an AutoTechHelp source-backed owner-help page. Official and regional Deepal sources are cited at the bottom.
Does this apply to Deepal L07?
No. This page covers Deepal SL03 only. Deepal L07 is a related but distinct model, covered on its own pages on this site.
Does an official owner manual exist for SL03?
The official DEEPAL manual hubs in the UAE and Australia were checked directly and do not list SL03. The official China model page is an empty JS shell. Manual status is disclosed on the manual-and-maintenance-status page.
Are DTC/error codes published for this model?
No. Model-specific DTC pages are blocked until an official diagnostic or service source confirms exact codes.
Why are several different battery capacities listed?
SL03 has been sold with at least three different confirmed BEV battery capacities (58.89, 66.8 and 56.1kWh) across model years and markets, plus an EREV version. Do not merge these figures.
What warranty does SL03 carry?
The only concrete confirmed figure is the Jordan-market factory EV warranty of 6 years/200,000km. No SL03-specific warranty for other markets is confirmed in this rollout.
What ADAS features does SL03 have?
The official Jordan brochure confirms a full ADAS suite (adaptive cruise control, sign recognition, blind spot detection, automatic emergency braking and more) -- see the ADAS and safety page.
Is this a repair guide?
No. High-voltage battery, range-extender, charging, brake, steering, airbag and ADAS work is excluded.
Do the Uzbekistan and Jordan figures apply to other markets?
No. Regional data (power, range, warranty) applies only to the market it was sourced from and is not treated as universal.
How often are sources checked?
The seed stores checked dates and review tasks; pages should be rechecked as Deepal publishes new official material.
