TPMS / tyre pressure warning
Drive with cautionWhat this light means
BYD tyre-pressure warnings can mean low pressure, rapid pressure loss, high tyre temperature, No Signal from a wheel sensor, or a TPMS system fault with dashed pressure values. Use the exact screen state before deciding whether this is a tyre-pressure check or a service-required TPMS fault.
Immediate actions
- 1Reduce speed and avoid sharp steering, hard braking and high-speed cornering.
- 2If one pressure value is yellow, stop safely and check that tyre against the placard or model-specific owner manual value.
- 3If pressure drops quickly, the tyre is damaged, or the vehicle feels unstable, stop as soon as it is safe and arrange roadside assistance.
- 4If the display shows No Signal, dashes, or Please check TPMS after correct pressure, record the screen and contact authorised BYD service.
What to check
Check the visible tyre condition before inflating.
Use the vehicle tyre-pressure label or exact owner manual, not a universal pressure value.
Do not continue driving on a flat, visibly damaged or overheating tyre.
Do not assume No Signal means tyre pressure is safe.
After tyre, wheel or sensor replacement, confirm whether TPMS matching is required.
Possible causes
- ›Under-inflated tyre
- ›Puncture or slow air leakage
- ›Tyre overheating
- ›TPMS sensor signal not received
- ›TPMS module or wheel sensor fault
- ›Wheel, tyre or sensor work requiring TPMS matching
